Privacy Policy
The short version
Wogger does not require an account, and your workout data stays on your device. We collect anonymous product analytics so we can tell which parts of the app people actually use.
What we collect
Workout data. Exercises, sets, weights, reps and session times are stored locally on your device. They are not transmitted to us.
Product analytics. We use PostHog to record which screens are opened and which actions are taken, along with device type, operating system version and app version. These events are tied to a random identifier generated on your device, not to your name or email.
Crash and error reports. When the app hits an error, PostHog records the technical details — the error message, where in the code it happened, device type and app version — under the same random identifier. Your workout data is not included.
Website analytics. Visits to wogger.app are recorded by PostHog in the same anonymous way.
Purchases. If you subscribe to Wogger Pro, RevenueCat records which plan you bought, when it renews or lapses, your country and device type, and a random identifier it generates for your install. That identifier is not your name or email, and it is not the same one the analytics above use.
What we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, or health data from Apple Health or Google Fit. We do not sell data, and we do not run advertising networks in the app.
We never see your payment details. Card numbers and billing addresses go to Apple or Google and stop there — they reach neither us nor RevenueCat.
Who processes your data
PostHog Inc. processes analytics events on our behalf, hosted in the United States. RevenueCat, Inc. processes subscription records on our behalf, also in the United States, and only for people who buy Wogger Pro. Apple and Google process the payment itself. No other third party receives your data.
Your choices
Deleting the app removes the workout data stored on your device. To request deletion of analytics events associated with your device identifier, email hello@wogger.app and we will remove them.
Subscription records are kept while a subscription is active and for as long as the store requires afterwards, because they are what proves you paid for something. Cancel from your App Store or Play account settings at any time — the free app keeps working exactly as it did.
Children
Wogger is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions go to hello@wogger.app.
